about

I started out of high school as a graphic designer, I spent a few years in the local newspaper going from Designer to Production Manager. Spending time creating small adverts for local businesses, large feature adverts and feature pages. But also spending a lot of time fixing problems created by design agencies who really didn’t know much about how print media worked.

From there I jumped to a graphic design house part time, and also during that time taught myself web development. Starting with simple HTML, then drifting into CSS, now I develop websites in simple php code and also use several different Content Management Systems.

In 2007 I made to a more stable career in I.T. and took up a Certificate 3 in I.T., specialising in Network Management. The change was brought about by relocating to the city.

I now spend my time working in Desktop Support, fighting every 2 issues for every 1 Microsoft fixes.

I spend my other time away from work… doing more work. Freelance graphic and web design, tech support and advice for people. Some of which seems to be consumed by family members, just remember family and friends will take it for granted!

My time spent not working revolves around playing XBOX 360, PC games, going out, and reading, watching and hearing about my passion for design and architecture. I’m hoping at some stage I can make it to university to study this and follow something I love.

For now, it will be consumed by Microsoft Certifications… and Facebook/Twitter/Myspace/insertsocialnetworkingwebsitehere.
