The Pacific
Being a keen Band of Brothers fan, owning the box set twice… yes, twice (after it being stolen the first time!), and seeing it almost 6 times. I’d been waiting on the sequel called “The Pacific” to be released, made by the same duo of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks it’s bound to be good. Today I looked into it a little more and found that a trailer is out for the mini series and expected to be released on HBO in the U.S some time in early 2010.
The Pacific follows three US Marines – Robert Leckie, Eugene Sledge and John Basilone – into combat against the Japanese in 1942, island-hopping across the brutal, blood-saturated battlefields of the Pacific and back home again after VJ Day.

I’ve been touched.
I caved… and bought an Apple iPod Touch. 8gb Gen 2 version. So far it’s pretty nice, it’s fast and has some good apps on it to use. It’s replaced my iRiver X20 8gb, yet to get much music on it as iTunes isn’t a great piece of software especially on Windows. So I think I might give Songbird a go at some stage and get some music on there!
