To me, it seems like someone took the “status” update from Facebook and made a website so you can tell people what you’re doing at any given time of the day, and if you get addicted. You can even update it by sms.

its so funny how all the late adopters first respond to twitter by saying “duhh.. its just the facebook status”

True, but when it first came out I looked and said “that’s just the facebook status”. I’ve been avoiding it as much as possible because it seems like a waste of time
