I haven’t had much of a chance to update my blog lately, I’ve been busy in regards to my part time job and my freelance work. I’ve finished an album cover and waiting on approval before I send the artwork to be printed. Morella House is online but still working on a few things and will update it at another stage. Blackwood High School is running in the background while work slows on the other projects waiting on contacts to get back to me.

The Moorings will swing into full gear soon and develop that site. I’ve also taken on a project, but slim on the details at the moment but have registered www.carrickalinga.net for something to fiddle with, I’ve noticed there’s nothing to give information about the region and around it. There are some great local stores in Normanville which is adjacent to Carrickalinga while are a gold mine for great local produce.

Also on Monday my graphics card decided it was time to say bye bye and packed it in. It was an MSI Nvidia GeForce6800GT 256mb, it’s the 5th Nvidia card I’ve had die on me while working. I’ve never had an ATI card suddenly die. I’ve replaced it with an ASUS Nvidia 8600GT 512mb, the fan on it is massive and gives me only 6mm of clearance between the fan and my sound card. However it is said to run 16 degrees cooler according to the box!

I’ve also bought a 160gb notebook drive running externally on USB from MSY which is now my backup drive. I just use Microsofts SyncToy to back up the needed files to the drive when I’ve finished working and the copy stays on there.

And just to add, I’ve been playing with the blog features on my Sony K770i, they upload straight to a Blogspot account I have and I can make a post with a photo I’ve taken. You can see that at http://casino-brawl.blogspot.com
